Transfer Students

You should submit an application as early as possible during the year before you wish to enroll. On the application you must indicate all colleges and/or universities attended whether or not you have earned credit. In addition, you should include any schools you plan to attend before your actual enrollment at UNO. You must request that the registrar of each university you have attended send official transcript(s) to the UNO Office of Admissions. Transcripts are only considered official if they are mailed directly from the registrar to our Office of Admissions. Student copies of transcripts are not considered official. If you are enrolled in college when you apply to UNO you must send transcripts at the time of application and again at the close of the semester. A 2.25 cumulative GPA is required for admission.

If you have graduated from high school and have completed fewer than 24 semester hours of college credit you must meet both freshman and transfer admission requirements.
