NAILERS/STAPLERS

Lumber Liquidators offers many sizes and profiles of solid and engineered floorings from the standard ¾” to 5/16”. Because there is no “Universal nailer” capable of fastening all sizes and types of wood flooring, installers must ensure that the nailing machine and adaptors selected are securely holding the floor without causing damage. Staplers using 18-20 ga 1”-1 ½” staples may actually be preferred over nailers when fastening the delicate lower profile 5/16” and 3/8” engineered strip floors. Cleat nailers 18-20 ga cleats are most recommended for fastening bamboo and lower profile exotics. Due to the hardness of many ¾”solid exotic wood species, tongue fracture during installation may happen and is not considered a defect. Adjustment to the Nailer-base or hand nailing may be required to prevent damage to some of the harder species. Nailers depicted herein are for customer courtesy or reference
